How does PV Surge Protector work?

When the system has overvoltage due to lightning strikes or other reasons, PV Surge Protector can respond in nanoseconds and introduce overvoltage into the ground for discharge, thereby protecting the equipment.

It should be installed as close to the protected equipment as possible, and the length of the connecting cable should be shortened. When wiring, ensure the polarity is correct and do a good job of waterproof sealing.

PV Surge Protector must be reliably grounded, the grounding cable should be as short and thick as possible, and the grounding resistance should meet the requirements of relevant standards.

PV Surge Protector can greatly reduce the risk of lightning damage, but it cannot be avoided 100%. Other lightning protection measures should also be taken, such as lightning rods, shielding, etc.

Most products have fault indications, such as green lights for normal and red lights for faults. Some also have remote monitoring functions, which can grasp the working status in real time.
